Game Description: Fortz is a strategic board game that combines elements of chess, checkers, and Risk. Players take on the role of fort builders, aiming to construct and defend their fortifications while disrupting their opponents’ efforts. The game requires strategic thinking, tactical planning, and a bit of luck.

How to Play:

  1. Each player starts with a set of fort building pieces and a starting fortification.
  2. On their turn, a player can choose to build a new fortification, upgrade an existing one, or move their pieces to attack or defend their opponent’s fortifications.
  3. Pieces can move horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, but not backwards.
  4. When a piece reaches an opponent’s fortification, it can attack and capture that fortification.
  5. The game ends when one player has eliminated all their opponent’s fortifications, or when all players have exhausted their building materials.
  6. The player with the most fortifications remaining wins the game.

  2. When a piece reaches an opponent’s fortification, it can attack and capture that fortification.
  3. If a player’s fortification is attacked and captured, they must discard the corresponding fortification card and remove the captured piece from the board.
  4. The game ends when one player has eliminated all their opponent’s fortifications, or when all players have exhausted their building materials.

Special Power Cards:

  1. Shield: Protects a fortification from an attack for one turn.
  2. Saboteur: Destroys an opponent’s fortification.
  3. Builder: Allows a player to build an additional fortification on their turn.
  4. Engineer: Allows a player to move an extra space on their turn.
  5. Architect: Allows a player to upgrade an existing fortification to a higher level.
