TRICKS

Report A Bug FullScreen

Game Description:

“Tricks” is a popular card game that requires strategy, attention to detail, and a little bit of luck. Players take turns playing cards in a specific order, trying to create sequences and sets to earn points. With its easy-to-learn rules and exciting gameplay, “Tricks” is a great game for players of all ages and skill levels.

How to Play:

  1. Shuffle a standard deck of 52 cards and deal 7 cards to each player.
  2. The remaining cards are placed face down in a draw pile.
  3. The top card from the draw pile is turned over and placed beside it, face up, to start the discard pile.
  4. The player to the left of the dealer goes first, and then play moves clockwise.
  5. Each player’s turn consists of two parts: Draw and Play.
    • Draw: The player draws the top card from the draw pile or takes the entire discard pile if they can use all the cards in the pile to create valid sets and runs.
    • Play: The player must play one card from their hand that matches the current top card on the discard pile either by:
      • Creating a sequence (e.g., 3-4-5 of the same suit)
      • Creating a set (e.g., three 7s of different suits)
    • If a player cannot play a card, they must draw a card from the draw pile and play passes to the next player.
  6. The game continues until one player has played all their cards. That player scores points for the cards their opponents have left in their hands.
  7. The game can be played with a scoring system, where players earn points for the cards they have left in their hands. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins.
